What is Yoga?

The meaning ofyoga is union, association and comes from the word yui, which can be translated as anbienden, anjochen. It is about the union of breath, soul, mind and body with the aim of calming the mind and thus the thoughts. 

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is characterized by the dynamics of the asanas (physical exercises). The asanas are combined with breathing, resulting in a flowing, creative movement. In combination with pranayama (breathing exercises) and short meditations, it not only works on the physical level, but also involves the mind. This trains the mind and supports physical and mental health. With the build-up of energy, the human being is involved as a whole and helps to achieve more calm, focus, flexibility and change.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a passive, meditative and calm yoga style. The mostly sitting or lying asanas (posture) are held for three to seven minutes.

  • Improved sleep

  • Breathing exercises strengthen the nervous system

  • enriches body with oxygen, prana

  • regulation of hormonal balance

  • better concentration and increased performance

Both yoga styles are aimed at beginners, advanced, curious and all those who would like to take care of their physical and physical health. The courses are conducted in groups.
